hello! it's been such a long time since I reviewed any circles lenses! so today I will be reviewing shabet star grey circle lenses kindly sponsored by kpop2 ^^ so sorry that this review took so long to get posted ;;; I've been sick and stressed with exams ;; please do forgive me!
the lenses took 3 weeks to arrive since it was lunar new year so post offices were shut down for one week.
the vials were securely bubble wrapped to prevent them from getting damaged
I really like how bright and colorful the packaging is. so cute!
my right eye got weaker, but not my left. strange how that works, LOL
• Duration of use / 6 months or more
• Place of origin / KOREA
• Overall diameter (DIA) / 14.5mm
• Graphic diameter / 13.8mm
• Moisture content / 38%
• BC / 8.6mm
it comes in two colors, grey and brown.
close-up of the design ^^
(all these were taken with natural lighting, so the coloring varies a bit ;;;)
I really like the design. it's very simplistic but pretty and it's not completely overbearing compared to more "anime" lenses used for cosplaying. I was surprised by how pigmented the color appeared even though I have dark brown eyes, which was a definite plus.
it definitely makes my eyes appear larger and more "anime" like, especially with makeup applied. since the diameter is only 14.5mm it's not too large which would make my eyes look a tad bit on the "stranger" side since they'd be too big, haha.
I haven't worn circle lenses in a few months but within a minute or so it felt like I wasn't even wearing lenses. what's also fantastic is that since these are relatively small compared to other circle lenses on the market they're easier to put in and wear for beginners.
the owners were so kind and nice, always answering any and all my questions. they also replied to the emails I sent within a few hours of sending and had shipped my lenses out asap!
I am so happy with how the color and design turned out, and what's even better is that they're super comfortable to wear (and I personally like wearing circle lenses like contacts, haha.) another plus is how all of kpop2's lenses are so affordable at $10.99 a pair, and you can get prescription lenses like myself! while this particular design only has 2 colors, there's a huge variety of lenses on their sites in various designs and colors!
♥ you can purchase these lenses at kpop2 ♥
thanks so much for reading!
