i feel like i haven’t written anything personal here on here in ages, which is weird since this is a blogging site lol. i guess some life updates? i transferred universities & i’m really liking it here, haha. i made a lot of new friends from my french class. i turned 23 last month and it’s a little weird since i don’t feel or look any different. i downloaded a dating app and it’s… something new that’s for sure! though not too much luck so far ;;;; i also started a bullet journal back in august and i actually do keep up with it! surprising since i’m known to pick up things quickly and drop them just as fast, oops. i got an annual pass to universal studios in la back in january and have gone almost at least once a month with friends since. i’ve been trying to go out more and thanks to my friends, i’ve visited a lot of new places and tried a bunch of different foods. i’m still hoping to travel to japan with my cousins in the future, but with tuition and textbooks it’ll be quite a while until then ;;; i quit my part-time job a couple months back due to some professional conflicts but without that stress and having time to actually concentrate on my studies, i feel a lot better than i did before.
i've been meaning to blog about my trips with friends and post about my hauls but i kept pushing everything back until it was too late. i'm thinking about how i can try to fit everything before the new year comes but i have finals starting next week so i want to post about at least one thing before december ends. i might also just do a huge post of all the cool things i've bought over the last few months just to make things a little easier for myself. i also definitely want to do a post about my bullet journal and all the goodies i have gotten to decorate it with! we'll see! but there will definitely be something up soon.

this is long over due, but better late than never! I went to my first anime expo this year, though I only went for saturday ;;; next year though, I'm definitely going to try to go all 4 days since 1 day was definitely not enough to explore artist alley or the panels.

this is so long overdue, but I still really wanted to talk about exo'luxion even if it was something brief. it's been over a month since the LA concert and honestly I'm still not over it lol.

this is so long overdue, but finally i'm posting about my 3 week trip to australia! i've been putting off this post for months, and even completely forgot about it at one point, but here it is! i spent most of my time in 3 places: sydney, gold coast, and melbourne.

so today I finally got the gift lily got me! it was so sweet of her to tell me that she got me a little something omg ;;;; it's an unofficial xiumin/exo necklace and it's so cute ahhh ;;;; my favorite thing is her little letter though <3 short & sweet and it made me really happy! and the little doodle with "get da oppa" made me laugh out loud heheheh. thank you for the lovely present! I'll cherish it always ^^

So from July 2nd to July 8th I was in Seattle, Washington to visit family from my mom's side for vacation. It's funny because the weeks leading up to the trip were going by so slow but the vacation itself went by in the blink of an eye. but! it's okay, I'll be seeing 2 of my cousins next August for KCON so that's exciting! I actually posted a lot of photos from my trip on instagram, but I think writing about my trip would be better.

I remember when I was little I would always tell my mom that I want to "grow up really fast!" because being a kid "sucked." Looking back on that, I couldn't have been more wrong. As a child it was practically ingrained in me that failure was not an option and that I would be going to college. When senior year of high school rolled around it felt like I had my entire life figured out; I knew that I wanted to major in, what school I wanted to go to, what job I was going to get, and the type of man I wanted to marry. But then I didn't end up going to the university of my choice, changed my major, and my ideals in a marriage partner changed.
